I love cooking. I love that cooking gave me a chance to be creative and I always lose myself in the rituals of chopping, stirring, and tasting. It's my own tasty adventure. And ever since I was little, I always dreamed of owning my own little restaurant. But there are reasons why sometimes our dreams suddenly change.

What is the reason I stopped being a Restaurant Manager

I am very passionate and dedicated when it comes with my work. I manage staff, make decisions on menu changes and marketing campaigns, I check inventory, and solve the usual concerns of employees and customers. I was having the time of my life, but I never thought that the unexpected will happen. It was 2019 when I unexpectedly felt severe pain in my left thigh. I thought it was just one of those instances that will just pass by until it got disturbing. I decided to see a couple of doctors and got myself checked. They told me that I have Sciatica and advised me to undergo rehabilitation therapy. However, when I was about to start with the program, my rehab doctor re-assessed my situation and asked me to go through a CT scan and x-ray. The results came out and unfortunately, they found a bone cyst. They did ask for an open biopsy and the result was Osteosarcoma stage 2B. I had cancer.

I lost my job, so my family helped me pay for my medical bills. I had undergone chemotherapy, hip replacement surgery and radiation for a year. I'm now cancer free but then the pandemic hit and it was really hard to get by.

How I overcame this and become a Freelancer

Someday, I will be a successful Freelancer

As a cancer survivor, I have the eagerness to learn new things and give my 100% best. I will never stop to learn new things. This characteristics of mine will make sure that someday I will become a successful freelancer.
